R.I.P Davy Jones

The Monkees bandmate Davy JOnes has passed away at age 66. Sources have reported that Davy Jones passed away in his sleep after a heart attack at his home in Florida, USA. When found unconcious in his bed he was rushed to a nearby hospital were doctors were unable to resuscitate him. Fellow Monkees bandmates have all released heart felt messages on their friends death.
Guitarist Mike Nesmith said 'spirit and soul live well in my heart among all the lovely people'.
Fans and friends have all paid tribute to the legend over twitter and facebook.

Kasabian (Rock Band) also paid tribute to Davy Jones lastnight at the NME awards due to him being one of their heros in music. When they received an award, insted of giving an acceptance speech, lead singer of Kasabian belted out 'Hey, hey were the Monkees'. A real touching moment.
